The QU4LITY project – the biggest European project dedicated to Autonomous Quality (AQ) and Zero-Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) in the Industry 4.0 – organizes the second Open Call targeting SMEs and MidCaps.
The objective of the second Open Call is to validate the standardized QU4LITY concepts and platforms through new Zero-Defect Manufacturing pilots. The deadline for applications will be June 18, 2021.
This Open Call targets mainly the following activities carried out by SMEs and MidCaps:
- Zero-Defect Manufacturing pilots for manufacturers deploying the QU4LITY paradigm within Autonomous Quality. These new pilots will consist of solutions provided to manufacturers, complementing the large-scale pilots within the QU4LITY ecosystem. The allocated Budget is €300,000 for the funding of 4 proposals.
- Enhancements to QU4LITY digital platforms and pilots by SMEs and MidCaps, which will give companies the opportunity to further develop the project’s systems using the Open APIs provided by the project. The allocated Budget is €375,000 for the funding of 5 proposals.
QU4LITY will demonstrate an open, standardized, shared data-driven ZDM product and service model for Factory 4.0 through 14 pilot lines. The project will also demonstrate how European industry can build ZDM strategies and competitive advantages through an orchestrated open platform ecosystem, ZDM atomized components, and digital enablers across all phases of the product and process lifecycle. The main goal is to build an autonomous quality model to meet the Industry 4.0 ZDM challenges. Qu4lity has started on January 1, 2019, and will last 39 months.
