Open DEI task force 1 launches building blocks survey

Jul 1, 2022 | News

The Open DEI task force 1 has started gathering information on data spaces building blocks and their harmonization.

The task force has created a questionnaire to allow projects, companies, and data spaces to identify and describe their implementations. Which technologies and solutions were used or instantiated? How was this technology implemented? The survey also focuses on the experience respondents have gained and asks for potentials and ideas for further development of existing concepts.

All contributions from survey participants will be published together with IDSA in a building blocks catalog on GitHub (https://github.com/International-Data-Spaces-Association/idsa).

The results of the survey will also be presented and discussed at two workshops.

  • Building blocks assessment 1st meeting – 21st July 14:00 – 15:30 (GMT+2) – Registration on this link
  • Building blocks assessment 2nd meeting – 1st September 14:00 – 15:30 – Registration on this link

During these workshops, experts and contributors will review the building blocks based on their experience and information from the survey. The goal: to redefine building blocks, identify technologies and solutions, and explain reference implementations.

All of these findings from the workshops will be incorporated into a publicly available OPEN DEI building blocks assessment report.
