GAIA-X Launches New Website

Jun 2, 2021 | News

The European federated data infrastructure GAIA-X launched its new website today. The website https://gaia-x.eu/ includes information about the GAIA-X Association, its goals and the structure behind it.

GAIA-X is an open, transparent and secure digital ecosystem, where data and services can be made available, collated and shared in an environment of trust. But how does it work? And who is behind it? The new website gives answers to these questions and helps to understand the complexity of the GAIA-X ecosystem.

As a founding member of the GAIA-X AISBL, the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) helps to ensure data sovereignty and trust in data spaces as an essential element of the GAIA-X ecosystem. The concept is explained on the data spaces page: https://gaia-x.eu/what-is-gaia-x/data-spaces. It shows how the IDS reference architecture model forms a solid ground for Europe’s data infrastructure.

Position paper “GAIA-X and IDS”

IDSA’s position paper “GAIA-X and IDS” demonstrates the alignment of elements of the International Data Spaces Reference Architecture Model with GAIA-X principles and architectural elements. The collaboration of IDSA and GAIA-X shows how both organizations can complement and strengthen their efforts.

The position paper “GAIA-X and IDS” is available for free download:
