Expert knowledge from logistics research, Insights from corporate practice
Leading experts from science and business come together at the Zukunftskongress Logistik to look into the future of logistics. With the knowledge and insights of the two organizers, the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML and the Digital.Hub Logistics, and with ever new exciting formats, the long-established “Dortmunder Gespräche” offer an attractive program to learn about current technological and social developments.
The congress will start with top-class speakers and panelists such as Chairman of the IDSA Board Dr. Reinhold Achatz (former CTO thyssenkrupp), Gordon Riske (KION GROUP), Dr. Stephan Peters (Rhenus), Dr. Nicole Schnittfeld (Swiss Post) and Markus Bangen (duisport).
At the “Fraunhofer Symposium” you can expect topic-specific sessions on all aspects of the future of logistics, such as presentations and discussions on blockchain, AI in logistics, multimodal transport chains and sustainable logistics locations.
IDS is a common thread throughout the congress: The IDS standard is the guarantor for data sovereignty in innovative blockchain and AI applications as well as the basis for top logistics use cases such as the “Silicon Economy” use case by the Fraunhofer Institutes IML and ISST.
