Eclipse Dataspace Connector Conference

The Eclipse Foundation arranged a day full of hands on, guided sessions to help you understand the Eclipse Dataspace Connector project and to successfully start your own data space development. Our experts will guide you through the strategic positioning of data spaces, its importance in today’s data exchange environments, and where it fits in the landscape of various standardization efforts. You will learn about how to achieve digital sovereignty, control your data and build data sharing environments with build-in trust and control mechanisms.

The morning sessions will provide you with a detailed overview of what data spaces are, where they fit in the ecosystem and how they enable digital sovereignty through self-sovereign identity management and control over your data. You will learn about the core concepts in the Eclipse Dataspace Connector and how it forms the foundation for data spaces and enables companies to come together in federated multi-cloud environments.

In the afternoon members from the core developer team working on the Eclipse Dataspace Connector will take you on a lap through the code, explain all components and take you on a journey to jointly explore and build your first Connector! Roll up your sleeves, this will be a real working session with immediately useful output! (Please, see below for the prerequisites that will help you be fully productive in the hands on developer session)

The day will conclude with a panel discussion of experts and executives that are industry leaders and are driving the future of data spaces. They will provide their vision on the future of highly important topics and trends in data economies and how this will drive business ecosystems.

If you have any questions please contact Markus Spiekermann: markus.spiekermann@isst.frauenhofer.de (no later than January 27th).
