Launch Conference for the Dansk Data Space Forum
On November 14, 2024, the Danish Agency for Digital Government will host the launch conference for the Danish Data Space Forum. The new Danish Data Space Forum will strengthen data sharing by gathering forces in both the private and public sectors to establish data spaces in Denmark and across Europe. The initiative is part of the Danish government’s Digitalisation Strategy. The purpose of the Forum is to promote the use and understanding of data spaces as part of increased data utilisation in Denmark.
Specifically, the Forum will
- provide participants with access to knowledge sharing, networking and a bridge to EU developments. Data spaces are currently being developed at European level, so easy access to these developments is important. This can make it easier for Danish organisations to participate in specific European projects.
- give participants the opportunity to network, find data, funding, form partnerships, etc. in relation to realising Danish data space projects.
- promote awareness and utilisation of data spaces in general in the business community and in the public sector.
The launch conference will clarify and put all these objectives into perspective through relevant presentations, giving participants the opportunity to understand how the Forum can specifically contribute to their own
In his virtual keynote, Christoph Mertens, IDSA’s Head of Adoption, will paint the complex picture of data spaces in Europe – to show the audience in an easily understandable way what value and economic impact data spaces have, which players are involved in a successful data space and what ingredients are necessary for their success.
