IDSA Tech Talk | A minimal viable data space – with Eclipse Dataspace Components & Intel Software Guard Extensions

Join us for a new edition of our Tech Talk series: “A minimal viable data space – with Eclipse Dataspace Components & Intel Software Guard Extensions” on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

A data connector is the most important element of a data space: All data flows run through it; it connects the data space with external data sources and is also the interface between the data space and its participants; and it contains all the policy rules of the data space and ensures that they are enforced for all operations within the data space.

Securing such a critical component of a data space against unauthorized access is essential for creating a trustworthy data space.

In the Tech Talk, Markus Leberecht from Intel and Sergiu Stejar form IONOS will present how the Eclipse Dataspace Components apply the “Confidential Computing Principles” of runtime encryption and attestation. In order to demonstrate this, both will show how to set up a secure Minimal Viable Data Space using Intel’s Software Guard Extensions.
