The Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) is undertaking a survey to collect ideas and opinions on how to propose guidelines for common European data spaces to the European Data Innovation Board (EDIB).
The DSSC is mandated to support the work of the EDIB in view of enhancing the interoperability of data as well as data sharing services between different sectors and domains.
The survey can be accessed here and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. The deadline for submission is December 14, 2022.
Based on the survey, workshops, and other co-creation activities, DSSC will present a working paper in early 2023 with recommendations for the establishment of the European Data Innovation Board and, in particular, for collaboration between the DSSC and the EDIB.
Blueprint for data spaces in Europe
Funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Program, the Data Spaces Support Centre will coordinate all relevant actions on sectoral data spaces in Europe.
The project will create appropriate conditions for building an open data ecosystem characterized by interoperability and mutual trust between all participants. The goal is to provide a blueprint for data spaces that comprises common building blocks for business, legal, operational, technical, and societal aspects.
