Newly established hubs in different countries support IDSA to win new member

Digitization creates new opportunities for business. Everyday. Data is the strategic resource to drive these opportunities forward and to foster the success of companies in complex markets. For this, IDSA is growing and gaining more members on an international level. To support this development three IDSA Hubs across Europe were officially inaugurated in June:

June 5th, 2019 

Prague, Czech Republic

Official inauguration of the Czech IDSA Hub at Technical University of Prague during the Open house in the National Centre for Industry 4.0 and Testbed for Industry 4.0. 

This event took place at Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics. Guests from various fields of business, large and small sized companies attended the event.

Director Architecture, IDSA, Sebastian Steinbuss attended the hub inauguration ceremony and stated: “Overall, a round frame”! Czech Republic is a place to bind new members and interested parties to IDSA.

June 04th till 06th, 2019

Tampere, Finland

Official opening of the Finnish IDSA Hub at VTT Technical Research Center during the Pre-summit Partner Seminar “VTT & Tampere University” on June 5th, 9:00 am till 12:00 pm.

This event took place right before the Manufacturing Performance Days 2019 from June 4th till 6th in Tampere. The Manufacturing Performance Days are an international top level B2B summit in Finland at a new venue Tähtiareena! MPD 2019 offered views of top class invited speakers from leading industry and academia on latest trends and achievements in industry digitization, business leadership and the future of work in the era of Ecosystem Economy – the next frontier of industry

Thorsten Hülsmann, managing director from IDSA attended the hub inauguration ceremony and hold a speech on “Operation in Ecosystems” (Data sovereignty and IDS basis components as an enabler for agile production) during the pre-summit partner seminar. The host was Markus Taumberger, VTT – Technical Research Center of Finland, Chair and Moderator: Juha Pankakoski, Chairman Intelligent Industry Ecosystem.

Interesting conversations on IDSA were held with DIMECC, Metso, Konecreanes, and Deloitte… among others. In the panel discussion with IDSA (Thorsten Hülsmann), JGC Corp., Etteplan Oyi, DataStories International, nv and Wapice Oy all particapants agreed on the following:

Milan, Italy

Official opening of the Italian IDSA Hub at Cefriel, Politecnico di Milano. The opening was part of the interactive and multifaceted lecture event Data Sovereignty & Ecosystems.

The event provided exciting speeches such as “Data sovereignty” by Lars Nagel, Managing Director IDSA, “Data Management in the Automotive Industry” by Antonello Amadori, Volkswagen AG, “Trusted Identity for the Data Economy by Hannes Bauer, CEO Orbiter.de, and many more.
