The first series of IoT cluster events was successfully completed at the end of September. In Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich, software companies, IoT start-ups and IoT entry-level companies came together to get to know and discuss promising industrial use cases, IoT platforms and technologies. At this series of events organised by IDSA member companies Rittal and Cloud Ecosystem, IDS was also the focus of the World Café sessions and lectures, for example with the topic of “Secure and sovereign data exchange in business ecosystems”. “The topic of the Internet of Things (IoT) is currently progressing out of the hype and early adopter phase and is becoming increasingly important for many companies,“ says Lars Nagel, Managing Director of IDSA. “This makes it all the more important to actively exchange ideas, network with each other, unlock potential and develop future-oriented business concepts. There will also be more opportunities to do this at other IoT cluster events, as the series is planned to continue.
