Personverndagene 2025 | Norway’s data protection days

Personverndagene is Norway’s largest and most important gathering for data protection – where knowledge and experience come together. The event puts data protection on the national agenda and helps to strengthen the importance of data protection in society.

An extensive programme provides practical examples and hands-on experience of data protection. Interactive sessions and case studies provide insights into the challenges and solutions that organisations face when dealing with personal data.

Data sovereignty plays an important role at the interface between personal data on the one hand and companies and authorities on the other: in addition to respecting data in need of protection, it is important that those who pass on data – whether citizens or organisations – retain control over their data. IDSA’s Gianfranco Cecconi is on stage at Personverndagene to explain exactly how this works: Sharing data while controlling who can do what with the data and for what purpose. And introduces the magical concept behind it: the data space.
