IDSA Insight Talk: How IDS Enables Businesses to Benefit from GAIA-X

GAIA-X targets cloud and data sovereignty, data interoperability and portability. IDS is the standard that makes data sovereignty and data interoperability possible in GAIA-X.

What is data sovereignty? Data sovereignty means that the data provider has control over his data: He can enter his data into a data value chain, retaining control; he can decide along the value chain who can do what, how often, and in what context with his data.

For companies, data sovereignty is the prerequisite for data to become an economic asset, to share data at all, to trigger a data value chain – so that data can unfold its value.

IDSA and its members show with their use cases how data value chains look like and how data unfolds its value. Many use cases of IDSA members are use cases in GAIA-X, thus becoming part of the European data infrastructure.

Agenda and more details coming soon.
