Hannover Messe | Data spaces for industry event: Boosting industrial innovation with data spaces
Boosting industrial innovation with data spaces! On April 24, 2024, we celebrated our “Data spaces for industry event” at the Hannover Messe 2024. 10 data space enthusiasts, who are also industry experts, provided valuable insights:
They showcased data spaces that are revolutionizing the industry: How sharing data along the asset lifecycle enables predictive maintenance and circular services; how the digital product passport can be realized with a data space; how the mobility and automotive industries benefit from data spaces; how supply chains and production become more transparent and resilient.
Focus topic: Japanese-European cooperation in industrial data spaces and how it leads to trustful data sharing in cross-continent data spaces.
The IDS-Industrial Community presented its technological recommendations for connecting IDS and Industry 4.0. In addition, VTT showed how easily companies can connect to data spaces with the help of connectors. Or how companies can set up a data space themselves and benefit from the Data Spaces Innovation Lab.
No matter whether you were unable to join us or you would just like to take a look back – here are all the slides:
It would have been an honor for us to enrich our topic on the Japanese-European data space cooperation with a lecture by Prof. Satoru Tezuka. Unfortunately, he was unable to stay in Hanover until April 24. He therefore recorded a keynote speech and presented the “Data Free Flow with Trust” concept developed by Keio University:
