DataBri-X Tool Session 3 | Unlocking tools for data description and preservation

Join us for an enlightening webinar on May 3, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm CET, where we’ll introduce a suite of powerful tools designed to enhance your data management capabilities.

Why attend?

In this session, we’ll delve into cutting-edge solutions including:

  • PoolParty Semantic Suite by SWC: This comprehensive software suite offers semantic middleware equipped with features for modeling, loading, and maintaining vocabularies, taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs. Additionally, it includes deep text analytics, annotation, classification, and a recommender engine.
  • Watermarking by IMDEA: Explore advanced watermarking techniques and data types via the Data Provenance API, facilitating robust data provenance.
  • Open Research KGraph by TIB: Discover mechanisms, APIs, and tools tailored for publishing data papers and scholarly articles in a semantic and open manner.
  • DataCite Connector by TIB: Learn about seamless integration with DataCite for efficient management of datasets within DataBri-X.
  • RDFox by OST: Uncover the capabilities of this highly optimized knowledge graph and semantic reasoning engine.

About DataBri-X

Through DataBri-X, European Data Spaces, platforms and  marketplaces, as well as their wide range of business, governmental and public, research and civil society stakeholders will be equipped with a holistic and flexible data governance process and a seamlessly integrated standards-based ToolBox for data and metadata management. Data and metadata management can be assembled along relevant requirements, providing open source and commercial tools (i.e., the bricks/bri-X), and mechanisms to load 3rd party resources, such as language resources or AI models. Such tools and sources can be easily deployed into Data Spaces and thereby, will contribute to making Europe the most successful area in the world in terms of data sharing and data re-use, to gaining the full benefit from the value of data while respecting the legal framework relating to security and privacy.

The project aims to provide a holistic, energy-efficient, and user-friendly ToolBox of practical, robust and scalable bricks/Bri-X (processes, technologies and tools) that improve the interoperability, usability, discoverability, quality, and integrity of data and metadata, with the scope of making data sets ready for expanded digital value creation in the context of European Data Spaces. The DataBri-X ToolBox will be offered in compliance with accountability, fairness, privacy, and confidentiality regulations as well as FAIR (findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability) principles, and will build on existing and emerging initiatives.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore these innovative tools that can revolutionize how you describe and preserve data!
