The Cloud Computing Standards Forum | Connecting Stakeholders, Understanding the Legislative Landscape & Looking to the Future

The Cloud Computing Standards Forum is an in-person event on March 17, 2026, [postponed due to organizational reasons, new date will be announced soon] organized by the British Standards Institution (BSI) to explore the evolving landscape of cloud computing standardisation, including security, resilience, digital sovereignty, multi-cloud environments and the implications of the EU Data Act on cloud services and related technologies. The programme brings together standards professionals, industry stakeholders and policy experts to discuss current developments and challenges in cloud and data interoperability.

Sebastian Steinbuss, CTO at International Data Spaces Association and Chair of the CEN/CENELEC Joint Technical Committee 25 on data management and data spaces, will contribute insights on the standardisation of data-space technologies and data-sharing protocols.
