SYMPOSIUM ON INDUSTRIAL DATA SPACE: DATA SOVEREIGNTY IN PRODUCTION AND AUTOMATION

Dec 15, 2017 | News

“Data sovereignty in production and automation” was the focus of the Industrial Data Space symposium at Phoenix Contact at the end of November. Digital in NRW, the SME enabling centre, had invited experts from science and business to provide company representatives from East Westphalia-Lippe with insights into success stories and to discuss questions of data security exchange and digital sovereignty.

The agenda also included two presentations by the Industrial Data Space Association. Managing Director Lars Nagel presented the idea and vision of Industrial Data Space, and Jörg Langkau, Head of Research at IDSA member company nicos AG, elaborated on “Identity and security in the environment of Industrial Data Space” in his presentation.
