DESCRIPTION:What does a data marketplace need to make participants feel saf
 e when sharing personal and proprietary data? In one word: trust. \n\nExpe
 rts from the TRUSTS project will present their efforts to set up a GDPR-co
 mpliant European Data Marketplace based on privacy\, confidentiality and d
 ata sovereignty. \n\nAlexandra Garatzogianni (L3S Research Center at Leibn
 iz University Hannover)\, the coordinator of the project along with Gianna
  Avgousti (eBOS)\, Christos Roupas (Relational) and Benjamin Heitmann (Fra
 unhofer FIT) will introduce the goals of TRUSTS. The project aims to creat
 e a data sharing platform for personal and industrial use by interconnecti
 ng different user groups and providing generic functionalities for innovat
 ive applications and services. \n\nThe discussion will focus on how anti-m
 oney laundering works in TRUSTS and how the use of the IDS architecture wi
 ll enable data sovereignty and data protection mechanisms. Finally\, the p
 anelists will approach the question of how the industry can take advantage
  of the project results. \n\nThe topics in a nutshell: \n\n- TRUSTS use ca
 ses and the expertise within the project \n\n- Anti-money laundering \n\n
 – which mechanisms does TRUSTS apply\, how does it work in the eBos envi
 ronment \n\n- Privacy\, confidentiality\, data sovereignty \n\n– data pr
 otection aspects that are particularly important for the use cases \n\n- S
 tandardization – how data protection and data sovereignty mechanisms in
