DESCRIPTION:Europe’s ambition for digital autonomy to gain leadership in 
 the data economy and to empower our economy and society builds on the avai
 lability of a secure\, interoperable\, and sustainable computing infrastru
 cture from cloud to edge to IoT. To realize such a computing continuum\, i
 t is necessary to ensure convergence of several technologies\, including c
 loud\, edge\, IoT\, 5G\, AI\, etc.\, where distributed resources and servi
 ces can be smoothly orchestrated and aggregated on demand to support a var
 iety of data-driven applications. The workshop will address new cloud/edge
  technologies with enhanced performance enabled by and supporting AI\, whi
 ch increase European autonomy in data processing required to support futur
 e hyper-distributed applications.\n\nA successful European data economy ne
 eds data spaces. Data spaces need a unified architecture that meets the ne
 ed for data sovereignty. Lars Nagel\, CEO of IDSA\, will enrich the worksh
